Pause and resume

Pause and Resume is supported in both post-call recording (where Amazon performs audio recording directly) and Verint real-time audio recording. For post-call recording you must configure this feature, and behavior may differ from that of standard recording. For example, masked audio does not have a beep tone.

The pause and resume commands must be sent to the Interaction Capture Control API (formerly RIS API), which passes the commands to Amazon Connect.
