Export a survey

The survey export feature links Customer Feedback surveys with Quality Monitoring evaluation forms.

Before you begin 

Be familiar with your integration options.

Configure integration with Quality Monitoring (current version)

Procedure 

  1. Click Customer Feedback > Surveys.

  2. In the left pane, select the organization which owns the survey you want to export.

    All surveys for the selected organization display in the right pane. Although the display includes surveys that are available to the selected organization from parent organizations, you can only export surveys owned by the selected organization.

  3. In the right pane, select the survey that you want to export.

  4. Click Export.

    If the Export button is disabled, you have selected a survey that was created by a parent organization. You must selected the owner organization in the left pane to export the survey.

    The file download dialog displays asking what you want to with the survey export file.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • To continue with the export, click Save. The system opens a dialog requesting the location to save the .XML file. Select a location on your file system, and then click Save. The survey is saved in the location you specified. Surveys are exported using the following file naming syntax:

      BPMAINDB.Survey.1_<Date>_<Time>_GMT.xml

    • To cancel the export, click Cancel.

      Do not click Open. If you click Open the system will attempt to open the .XML file using the file associations configured on your workstation.

  6. Import the survey as an evaluation form in Quality Monitoring.

    If you intend to import the survey as an evaluation in Quality Monitoring, you must not change the survey name after exporting the survey. If you change the survey name you will sever the link between the survey and the evaluation form.
