1+1 Redundancy for text capture
Help ensure the availability of captured text messages and conversations from the Genesys Cloud CX platform by deploying redundant Verint Recorders.
1+1 Redundancy for Interaction Capture Service
A main server and a standby server are deployed to host the Interaction Capture Service. Both servers must be configured the same.
The active server polls the Genesys Cloud CX system regularly, and ingests conversations into the Verint archive system. Meanwhile, the secondary server is in warm standby. If primary goes down, the secondary starts polling and handles the retrieval of text messages.
When configuring redundancy for text capture, follow the guidelines for any 1+1 redundancy solution, as described in the Recorder Configuration and Administration Guide.
