Deployment zones

Verint Workforce Optimization architecture includes two logical deployment zones:

• Data Center zone—Contains server platforms that host the applications, database, and centralized data processing server roles. The Data Center zone platforms are deployed in a single physical site, or for high-availability purposes, they may be distributed across different locations with high-bandwidth and low-latency network, where latency is less than 10 ms. A Data Center zone can include one or more servers.

• Site zone—Contains platforms that host recording, content storage, content processing, speech analytics transcription, IVR surveys, and integration with the customer environment. The site zone platforms can be deployed on the Data Center physical site, and optionally across multiple physical sites. A site zone can include one or more servers.

Verint Workforce Optimization provides the following deployment options:

• Consolidated deployment—For small deployments in a single physical site. A consolidated deployment includes a single server installed with the consolidated platform. The consolidated platform includes both Data Center zone and site zone server roles.

• Distributed deployment—For medium and large deployments. Depending on the geographic distribution of the contact centers, the Data Center and site logical zones can be deployed in a single physical site or multiple physical sites.
