Replace a hard drive containing an operating system and applications

It is highly recommended that for hard drives containing operating systems and applications you reinstall the operating system and applications to ensure that the registry accurately reflects configurations.

Procedure 

1. Complete all the steps for replacing a hard drive containing data only, until you reach step 7.

2. At step 7, reinstall your operating system and applications.
