Update SSRS credentials for database access

Perform this procedure from the new server that hosts Reporting Services and has a new name. This updates the user account and password used for the database connection.

If the new system is configured with a new Management Service Account (MSA), then perform this procedure with a user that has access to the databases. This procedure also updates MSA.

Procedure 

1. Open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.

2. Select Connect to connect to the new server hosting SSRS.

3. Select Databases, and verify that SQL Server Name and Database Name are accurate.

4. Select Change Credentials, and verify that the user name for the new MSA user is set.

5. Select Next, wait until the configuration is successful, and then click Finish.
