Map data to a tenant's Custom Data fields

After a tenant configures their Custom Data fields, to populate the fields with the required data, the Service Provider must map the data from the tenant's CTI adapter, Generic adapter, or DPA screen control to the custom attributes created by the tenant.

Procedure 

1. To map data to a custom attribute, do one of the following:

   • Map data from the CTI adapter to the custom attribute

     To populate CTI data received from the switch into a Custom Data field, identify the field containing the data you want to extract in the Recorder Integration Service logs and map it to the relevant custom attribute.

   • Map data from an external adapter to the custom attribute

     To populate data from a Generic adapter into a Custom Data field, in the Import Manager, map the Custom Data field that the customer defined for storing the relevant data to the custom attribute.

   • Map data from DPA triggers to the custom attribute

     To populate data captured from a screen control into a Custom Data field, import the custom attribute created in Recording Management to DPA and create a trigger that passes back the control’s value to the custom attribute.
