IAFD configuration responsibilities

Configuration of Identity Authentication and Fraud Detection (IAFD) is shared between the Service Provider and the tenant. Use this topic for a summary of configuration expected from each party in a multi-tenant, SaaS work environment.

Service provider responsibilities

Enable the IAFD license for the system. IAFD licensing applies to all tenants.

Service providers must complete the following configuration for each tenant:

  • Enable IAFD server roles

  • Create campaigns

Create tenant campaigns only for automatic enrollment and to archive interactions used for enrollment. Tenant campaign use for ad-hoc post-processing is not supported for IAFD.

  • Create Identification Rules

  • Assign tenant entities, which include Custom Data (CD) and Conditional Custom Data (CCD)

  • Coordinate external URL action web server provisioning

If a tenant uses the External URL action feature of Recorder Analytics Rules, the tenant must provide a web server to which the External URL Action posts and the solution that consumes the External URL Action messages. Do not attempt to use the same external action URL for multiple tenants.

  • Create Recorder Analytics Rules

Before the service provider can configure a Recorder Analytics Rule for target detection, the tenant must first configure one or more watch lists.

Service providers cannot see the following tenant data:

  • Employees

  • Customers

  • Targets

  • Voiceprints

  • Although the Service Provider can see the watch lists, only tenants can see the watch list members (targets)

Tenant responsibilities

Tenants must configure the following items:

  • For employee verification:

    • Fields

    • Employees

    • Employee manual enrollment, if required

  • For customer verification:

    • Fields

    • Customers

    • Customer manual enrollment, if required

  • For target detection:

    • Targets

    • Target manual enrollment

    • Watch lists for target detection
