Load Balancer for TAS

Text Analytics Services (TAS) are deployed side-by-side with the WFO servers, and share the same load balancer.

Several aspects must be taken into consideration when configuring and deploying the Load Balancer.

HTTP Request Size

The maximum size of an HTTP request should be set to 5242880 bytes.

Redundant Mode (Optional)

If a disaster recovery mechanism with the active Data Center and passive Data Center is required, the customer can deploy two load balancers configured as redundant.

Additional aspects that must be configured are:

  • Port configuration

  • Session stickiness

  • Health monitoring (heartbeat)

  • Execution timeout

  • TLS configuration

The examples use the Barracuda LB (Model 340) to illustrate the configuration. Customers can deploy any Load Balancer that supports the configuration requirements.
