Automated Verification Capture Verification data flow
To verify calls are recorded as expected, Capture Verification collects and matches recording data and call data. The Capture Verification data flow shows the components and process Capture Verification uses to collect and verify data.
Following the initial Capture Verification configuration, the verification process is automated and continuous. When Automated Verification receives recording data from the Central Contact Database or call data from the switch, the Automated Verification Core runs the verification process automatically, matching recording data to call data and call data to recording data.

Automated Verification Core |
Automated Verification database |
Automated Verification Core saves Collector settings and service targets to the Automated Verification database. Collector settings identify the location of Call Detail Records (CDRs) from a switch associated with the selected organization. Service targets define acceptable levels of recording compliance, voice quality, and recording services. The Automated Verification Core is the principal software component of Automated Verification. The Core runs verification processes, writes data to the Automated Verification database, and generates Capture Verification results, alerts, and alarms. |

Central Contact Database |
Automated Verification Database |
The Central Contact Database writes recording data to the Automated Verification Database. The data includes details of calls recorded, voice quality, and if configured in the system, archiving, transcription, screen recordings, and sensitive data masking details. Typically, there is a delay before the recording data for a completed call is available in the Automated Verification Database. The Recorder processes the recording data in the Site zone before it is added to the Central Contact Database. |

Automated Verification Core |
The Automated Verification Core picks up recording data from the Automated Verification Database. The Automated Verification Core processes call recording data into segments and schedules data matching for a time range. When data matching is complete, the Core stores the data in the Automated Verification Database until an Automated Verification user or alert issues a request. When requested, the Core evaluates the results against configured service targets. If configured, the Core also evaluates any archiving, transcription, screen recording, and sensitive data masked details against defined service targets. |
