Integration overview

Plan and prepare for integrating the Verint recording solution with Zoom Meetings by understanding the required components, how they communicate, and who is responsible for deploying them.

By integrating the Verint recording solution with Zoom Meetings, the Interaction Capture Service captures meeting audio, video, screen share, and text chat from Zoom Meetings.

Zoom Integration Architecture

To get a meeting from Zoom Meetings, Interaction Capture:

  1. Uses the Zoom Meeting API to connect to and receive event notifications from Zoom Meetings.

  2. Polls for completed meetings at configured intervals and for configured windows of time.

  3. Obtains other meeting and participant information through the Zoom Meeting API.

  4. Downloads the MP4 to local temporary disk storage, then converts it to the following:

    • a G.711 Mono WAV that contains the meeting audio

    • an MP4 that contains the video and screen share

  5. Downloads the chat as a TXT file.

  6. Prepares and ingests contact and session information for the audio, video, and text chat content, and passes it to the Ingestion Web Service.
