Issues and limitations for BT Trading Enterprise integrations

Known issues or limitations exist for the integration between BT Trading Enterprise (formerly IPTrade) and Automated Verification.

A known issue is a low-priority defect that does not stop you from using this integration. A known limitation is a feature or function that is desirable, but is unavailable for use because of a limited ability in Automated Verification, the recorder product, the switch data source, or a combination of these systems. Whenever possible, we provide a workaround.

Issues and limitations can be caused by how the switch data source produces Call Detail Record (CDR) data for call scenarios, how a recorder product captures interactions, or how Capture Verification uses the available data to verify compliance. Some of these issues and limitations impact the range of results Capture Verification can provide.

Issues

The following issues can occur in the integration between BT Trading Enterprise and Automated Verification:

  • Interactions are created for the ringing segments of internal transfer calls, even when the call is not answered. These unnecessary interactions are listed in Capture Verification with Recorded, CDR not found or Recorded in error, CDR not found issues.

  • The parked segments of parked calls have incorrect start and end time stamps in VFC Capture integrations. This problem does not impact successful compliance result generation.

  • Due to a limitation in the switch data source, unfulfilled or invalid call scenarios, such as unanswered, cancelled, and zero-length calls create unnecessary recording segments, as the recorder receives CTI without recording. As no CDR data is generated for these calls, this results in Recorded, CDR not found issues in Capture Verification.

Limitations

The following limitations apply to the integration between BT Trading Enterprise and Automated Verification:

  • The unmatched recording segments of perpetual open line calls are listed with a Recorded, partial call or Recorded in error, partial call issue type in Capture Verification. CDR segments for perpetual calls that are longer than 48 hours are not processed.

  • Intercom and group intercom calls are not supported.

  • Broadcast calls are not supported.

  • Due to a limitation in TradeSense, the maximum number of traders supported on a single TradeSense server is 200. If the number of traders configured in the BT Trading Enterprise deployment and associated with the data source exceeds 200, multiple Collectors must be configured for the data source in Capture Verification, with each Collector connecting to a separate TradeSense server.

  • Automated Verification does not support calls recorded on VFC Capture extensions with type User/AgentID that have no User value configured. All of these calls show as Compliant, regardless of whether they were supposed to be recorded or not.

  • For this integration, Automated Verification does not evaluate recording rules set in Workforce Engagement.
