Capture Verification supports specific call recording scenarios for Zoom Phone.

Support

Inbound

Call originating from an device outside the switch network infrastructure to a device inside the switch network infrastructure.

 

Shared-line calls

Call made to one phone number that can be answered by multiple phone devices.

 

Outbound

Call originating from a device inside the switch network infrastructure to a device outside the switch network infrastructure.

 

Internal calls

Call with media sent through Zoom Core that acts as a proxy between two or more Zoom endpoints.

 

Peer-to-peer (P2P)

Call with media sent directly between two Zoom endpoints.

 

Conference

Blind conference

Call between three or more parties where the invited third party was not consulted prior to the invite.

 

Consultation conference

Call between three or more parties where the invited third party was consulted prior to the invite.

 

Transfer

Blind transfer

Call transferred from one agent to another agent where the other agent was not consulted prior to the transfer.

 

Consultation transfer

Call transferred from one agent to another agent where the other agent was consulted prior to the transfer.

 

Call queues

Call made to a call queue that distributes phone calls from a single telephone number to a group of different phone lines.

 

Long calls

Call whose duration exceeds the Long Call Duration (minutes) limit configured for the data source in WFE.

 

Hold and Resume

Call that is put on hold and resumed at least once, which does not become a transfer or conference as the same agent resumes the call.

 

Delegate calls

Call made to or from a line on which other users can make and receive calls on behalf of the owner.

 

Common Area calls

Call made to or from an unassigned desk phone that can be used by anyone.

 

Zoom rooms

Call made to or from a Zoom meeting room video conferencing system that sits on the Zoom Cloud ecosystem.

 

Cisco/Polycom rooms

Call made to or from a userless, fixed, IP conferencing phone device.

 

Selective / Percentage recording

The switch can be configured to record only a set percentage of the total call volume.

 

Manual recording (Record on demand)

The recording of the call is controlled manually, usually through a software client or a button on the phone.
