Add LDAP logging to the ProductionServer log
Add LDAP authentication logging to the ProductionServer log, to help diagnose LDAP issues. This requires enabling security modules in WebLogic that are not configured by default.
Procedure
- To enable LDAP logging:
- Open the WebLogic console, and log on as WLSAdmin.
- Click Lock & Edit.
- Navigate to Environment > Servers > ProductionServer > Debug, and expand weblogic and security.
- Select atn and atz, and then click Enable.
- Click Activate Changes.
Changing this setting does NOT require you to restart the WFO.
- To enable the ProductionServer debug logging:
- Navigate to Environment > Servers > ProductionServer > Logging.
- Increase the Rotation file size to at least 50 MB.
- Modify the number of log files to keep (recommended to keep at least 7 files).
- Expand the Advanced menu. Below the Date Format Pattern setting, change the Minimumseverity level to log to Debug C.
- Click Save and Activate Changes.
Changing these settings does NOT require you to restart the WFO service.
- After reproducing the issue for debugging, navigate to the debug logs folder:
