Mixed Mode Authentication (MMA)

Multiple authentication methods can run at the same time, providing authentication services for Desktop/ Web, Ad Hoc Reports and Mobile applications. For a system that is set up with MMA (Mixed Mode Authentication), the same system user profile can be authenticated using different authentication methods.

To comply with PCI 4 security requirements, it is recommended to use mixed mode authentication. DB Authentication is not recommended to use in production environments, either in mixed mode or standalone authentication.
