Installation in an Amazon WorkSpace environment

Amazon WorkSpaces are virtual Windows desktops hosted in the Amazon Web Service (AWS) cloud. WorkSpaces are accessed using a client which renders the Windows desktop and shared applications.

Amazon WorkSpace Users

Each WorkSpace is assigned to one user. More than one user cannot use a WorkSpace. By default, only one WorkSpace per user per directory is allowed.

Amazon WorkSpace Windows Installation

Each Amazon WorkSpace has its own unique Windows 10 installation under the C:\ drive. Screen Capture is installed on each Windows 10 workspace, rather than a terminal server installation.

Screen Capture can be installed manually or using silent distribution.

Amazon Workspace Network Ports

Each Amazon WorkSpace has its own unique host name and IP number. Screen Capture is installed and configured as a typical Windows 10 workstation, rather than a terminal server installation.

Amazon WorkSpace operating systems

The Amazon WorkSpace operating system must be 64-bit.
