Log on to the Thales DSM command-line interface

Before you can complete the preliminary Thales DSM configuration tasks, you must log on to the command-line interface (CLI).

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Thales DSM CLI.

If firewall port 22 is open, the CLI can be accessed using SSH. Use PuTTy version 0.74.1008.0 or higher.

  2. Enter the default logon of cliadmin

  3. Enter the default password of cliadmin123

  4. If accessing the Thales DSM for the first time, read and then accept the license agreement and enter a new password.

    1. On the License Agreement screen, type Y to accept, and then press Enter.

    2. When prompted, enter a new password, and then press Enter.

Keep the new password stored in a safe location and give it to the customer. You will need this password to access the CLI in the future.
