Configure server roles for chat capture
Enable roles to allow the Recorder to receive CTRs from Amazon Kinesis streams.
Procedure

Configure the Interaction Capture node.

In Enterprise Manager, go to System Management. Under Enterprise, click Settings.

Select the Interaction Capture node, then click Server Roles.

Ensure that the following roles are enabled:

Content Server
-
Recorder Ingestion Web Service
-
Interaction Capture
-

Click Save.

Expand the server node under Installations and select the Interaction Capture role.

Depending on the load in your environment, you may choose to increase the Ingestion Thread Count. In Advanced Mode, change the Interaction Capture Ingestion Thread Count to 20 (from the default of 5).

Click Save.

Follow the instructions in the chapter "Set up individual Recorders" in the Recorder Configuration and Administration Guide, including procedures to configure the Call Buffer (where contacts are saved when first recorded) and configure a voice card.
