Configure server roles for post-call audio capture

Enable server roles to all the Recorder to receive CTRs from Amazon Kinesis streams.

Procedure

  1. In Enterprise Manager, go to System Management, under Enterprise, select Settings.

  2. In the Installations pane, select a Recorder node.

  3. Under Enterprise, select Server Roles.

  4. For post-call audio capture enable the following services:

    • Content Server

    • Recorder Ingestion Web Service or External Cloud Recording Configuration

Associate Interaction Capture with either the External Cloud Recording Configuration or the Recorder Ingestion Web Service. Do not associate both roles with the Interaction Capture service. The External Cloud Recording Configuration server role is optimized for Verint Cloud platforms. Selecting only one role for Interaction Capture prevents ingestion target conflicts.

    • Interaction Capture

    • Recorder Integration Service

  5. Click Save.
  6. Expand the server node under Installations and select the Interaction Capture role.

  7. Depending on the load in your environment, you may choose to increase the Ingestion Thread Count. In Advanced Mode, change the Interaction Capture Ingestion Thread Count to 20 (from the default of 5).

  8. Click Save.

  9. Follow the instructions in the chapter "Set up individual Recorders" in the Recorder Configuration and Administration Guide, including procedures to configure the Call Buffer (where contacts are saved when first recorded) and configure a voice card.
