Configure roles for real-time audio recording

Enable server roles to support Recording functionality and allow the Recorder Integration Service to manage Recorder Adapter Proxy Services.

The roles do not necessarily need to be on the same server.

Procedure 

  1. In Enterprise Manager, go to System Management.

  2. Under Enterprise, click Settings.

  3. Under Installations, select the Recorder node, then click Server Roles

  4. Enable the following roles:

    • Recorder Integration Service

    • Content Server (must be enabled on all Recorders)

    • On the same server:

      • Ingestion Web Service

      • Interaction Capture (for CTR tagging and fallback recording)

    • On the same server:

      • IP Recorder

      • Recorder Adapter Proxy Service (RAPS)

  5. Click Save.
