Configure redundancy for CUBE environments

The type of recording performed depends on whether IP Recorders within the member group pool are paired or not. If there are paired IP Recorders within the associated IP Extension Pool member group, the Recorder Integration Service automatically attempts to record in N+N mode. If the IP Recorders are not paired, the system records in N+M mode.

Configuration for both N+N and N+M redundancy in CUBE environments requires that you pair Recorder Integration Servers.

Enable the command “(config)#voice hunt user-busy” on the CUBE proxy for redundancy. Otherwise CUBE proxy will not fork SIP traffic to the backup Recorder Integration Service when the main Recorder Integration Service responds 486 busy for SIP INVITE.
