Evaluate a Collection

Evaluating employees is important for their personal and professional development. Using pre-designed forms, managers can analyze the contribution of each employee and evaluate their quality of work. Based on the evaluation, managers can determine the course of action to take (coaching, eLearning, or award). To aid the evaluation process, the Collection Properties table opens once the employee you are evaluating is selected.

If your user role does not include the required privileges, all evaluation functionality is disabled on the Collection workspaces.

Before you begin 

  • Verify that the system has a Quality Management (QM) license.

  • Verify that your role includes:

    • Interactions Evaluation privileges

    • DPA Evaluation privileges

  • Verify that there is a form created for Collection evaluation purposes.

  • Verify that the form is assigned to your role and organization or group in the Interactions Assignment Manager.

  • Verify that you are familiar with the Form fill-out area.

Procedure 

  1. From the Collections Results widget, select a Collection and click the Evaluate icon Evaluate Collection. Alternatively, from the Contribution Timeline widget, locate the employee to evaluate and click the Evaluate icon Evaluate Employee.

  2. In the Evaluate Contributions workspace, from the Employee list, select the employee you want to evaluate (if not already populated).

  3. Fill in the Evaluation Form for that employee.

  4. Click Submit.
