Edit System Monitor thresholds

You can edit the threshold values of System Monitor status fields to specify the point at which a condition is reported as a warning or as an error.

Example: Set threshold for warning and error on CPU Usage

You set the Warning and Error Thresholds for CPU Usage to 60 and 85 respectively. When CPU Usage reaches 60 percent, the status bar turns orange to indicate a warning status. When CPU Usage reaches 85 percent, the status bar turns red to indicate an error status.

Procedure

  1. Click Status > System Monitor.

  2. In the Roles pane, select the Server node.

  3. Click Edit Thresholds.

  4. Enter a number between one and 100 for the Warning Threshold or Error Threshold values for the available fields and then click Save.
