Prerequisites for Multimedia Ingestion API

Before using the API, the following prerequisites must be met:

• You have the name of the Generic Application data source created for your account by Verint Services or Support.

• The agents you want to record have Verint Employee accounts and an Employee ID assigned to your data source. The Employee ID is usually the email address that the agent uses to sign into the external system.

• If you want to capture interactions from agents that do not have Verint employee accounts, create a default employee account and assign it to your data source. In API queries, the default employee ID is api.default_agent_id.
