Limitations for MS Teams using SIPREC

Single country code configuration in the Data Source

The Data Source supports only one country code at a time via the SIPREC.StationCountryCode setting, streamlining metadata tagging and extension formatting. For instance, if the UK code (+44) is set, all extensions must follow UK numbering to avoid manual prefixing. Extensions from other countries require individual mapping to SIPREC participants to maintain accurate signaling and geographic context.

Media behavior during call hold

Hold and retrieve functionality is not supported because the Session Border Controller (SBC) does not send a reINVITE to pause media during a hold. As a result, audio continues to be captured while the call is on hold.
