Configure Audio, Video, and VbSS capture
For Verint EDM to capture audio, video, and video-based screen sharing (VbSS) from Microsoft Teams, both Azure and Verint need to be configured.
Planning and Design
To get guidance for designing the solution, before you begin the configuration, work with the Verint solution architecture team to determine:
-
The number of Recording Bots required for your deployment
-
Whether an Azure Application Gateway for load balancing the web traffic to the Recording Bots is required
-
Where the other servers, such as the Recorder Integration Service, the Screen Recorder, and the Data center will be installed
Configuration workflows
-
Workflow: Configure Microsoft Azure components for Teams capture
To set up the recording integration, complete the procedures in Azure. Create a Virtual Machine for the Recorder installation in Azure, and configure a recording bot for either single or multi-tenant deployments. To allow the Verint adapter to subscribe to Microsoft Teams events using the Microsoft Graph API, complete app registration on the Azure portal.

Workflow: Configure Verint to capture Audio, Video, and VbSS from Microsoft Teams
To allow the Recorder to receive audio from Microsoft Teams, assign roles to installed servers, create data sources and adapters. To identify who to record and how, add employees and recording profiles.
