Workflow: Configure Verint to capture Audio, Video, and VbSS from Microsoft Teams

To allow the Verint Recorder to receive Audio, Video, and VbSS from Microsoft Teams, assign roles to installed servers, create data sources and adapters. To identify who to record and how, add employees and recording profiles.

Workflow

  1. Configure roles for Audio, Video, and VbSS

Enable server roles to support Recording functionality and allow the Recorder Integration Service to manage signaling services.

  2. Create a data source for Audio, Video, and VbSS

Create an Application data source for audio, video, and VbSS. Associate the data source with Interaction Capture and the Recorder Integration Service.

  3. Create a member group

A Microsoft Teams member group allows you to create a conceptual "BOT group" consisting of the Recorder and RAPS node, and associate them with the data source.

  4. Add Employees to the MS Teams Application data source

To identify whose interactions you want to record, add Microsoft Teams users to your system as Employees and associate them with the Microsoft Teams Application data source.

  5. Create a capture profile

Use Recording Profiles to stipulate the type of content you want to capture for multiple Employees at once.

  6.  Configure the Microsoft Teams BOT Adapter

The Microsoft Teams BOT Adapter connects to Azure for audio recordings.
