Copy roles to Original roles organization

This procedure is only required if WFO V15.2 HFR7 or below is installed.

Roles in the root organization are scoped to tenant organizations and are available to all tenants. Therefore, no roles should remain in the root organization.

Copy the roles from the root organization to the Original roles organization, and delete the roles on the root organization.

Before you begin

Create organizations to store activities, queues, and roles

Procedure 

  1. Go to User Management. Under Security, select Roles Setup.

  2. Copy all the roles from the root organization to the Original roles organization.

  3. In the root organization, delete all roles.

  4. Rename the copied role names.

    For example, rename Copy of Manager to Manager.

  5. For any copied role that is flagged as an administrator role (as indicated in the Is Admin column), edit the role and remove the Is Admin Role flag.
