Configure TLS for TAS servers

Configure TLS for all TAS servers by creating and installing the required SSL certificates on the TAS servers.

All the certificates must have the same password.

Procedure 

  1. Copy CA certificates for TAS servers

    Copy the P12 and the root CA certificates on the TAS Management server. Make sure that you rename the root CA certificate as ca.pem before you copy them.Copy CA certificates for TAS servers

  2. Generate SSL certificates for TAS servers

    On the TAS Management server, generate SSL certificates for the TAS services that require service-to-service authentication for all the TAS servers in your deployment. Text Indexing Service, and Secure Gateway services are examples of TAS services that require authentication. Generate SSL certificates for TAS servers

  3. Copy PEM and generated SSL certificates to TAS servers

    Copy the certificates created for the Text Indexing Service (TINS) and the Secure Gateway from the TAS Management server, to all the other TAS servers in your deployment, including the TAS Management server.
