Session stickiness

The LB must be configured with session stickiness to enable a session connection from the Text Analytics desktop to the Model Management Service and to the WFO Application Server.

To achieve session stickiness, you must configure the LB with one of the following Persistence Types:

  • HTTP Cookie

  • Client IP (addresses)

Session persistence timeout

The session persistence time should be aligned with the session timeout defined in the system. By default this is 60 minutes.

Example:

The following is an example of configuring an HTTP Cookie persistence type, using Barracuda LB (Model 340Model 660).

If the LB allows defining the cookie name, set the name with the format:

SystemService_Port#

Where Port# is the port to which the request is issued.

Example: SystemService_80
