Create a recording profile

A recording profile defines what is captured for specific organizations and their employees. To reduce effort and simply administration, assign employees to organizations, and assign organizations to profiles.

What you should know

Required privileges: View Recording Profiles and Edit Recording Profiles.
Only employees in the recording profile for the Verint Messaging data source are captured.
You can create a recording profiles.

Before you begin

Create a Conversocial data source

Procedure

Go to Recording Management. Under Data Source, select Settings.
In the Data Source column (left column), select the Application data source for which you want to create a recording profile.
On the Settings page, select Create.

Complete the parameters.

Parameter	Description
Name	A unique name for the profile.
Description	Describe the purpose of this profile.
Record social media	Set to Record to capture messages from social media platforms, like Facebook.
Record instant messaging	Set to Record to capture messages from instant messaging platforms, like Messenger.

Add organizations, employees, or both to the recording profile.
- Organization: Organizations are created under Organization Management. You can add multiple Organizations to a single recording profile. Selecting a parent Organization automatically selects its children, but you can clear the child organizations individually.
- Employee: Employees are set up under User Management. Select one or more Employees from the left pane, then use the arrow buttons to move them to the right. For many Employees, you can use the filter tool to narrow the selection.
Click Save.
