Configure CDRs in Avaya Aura CM
Capture Verification requires Call Detail Records (CDRs) from Avaya Aura Communication Manager (CM) for the types of calls recorded and in a customized format.
Before you begin

Set up the integration between a recorder and Avaya Aura CM.

Ensure that the Special Application SA8201 is purchased from your Avaya Service Provider and enabled for your system.

For Avaya Aura CM versions 10.1.2.1 and earlier, ensure that the Special Application SA8702 is also purchased and enabled for your system.

Sign in to the Avaya Aura CM through the System Access Terminal (SAT) with an account that allows you to modify system parameters.
Procedure

Enter the command:
change system-parameters special-applications
-
Set (SA8201) - Start Time and 4-Digit Year CDR Custom Fields to y and select enter.

For Avaya Aura CM versions 10.1.2.1 and earlier, set (SA8702) - CDR Enhancements for Networks to y and select enter.

Enter the command:
change system-parameters cdr
-
Follow CDR system parameter settings for Capture Verification, and change the CDR system parameters to the required settings.

Verify that the Record length is 167 and select enter.

For Capture Verification to receive CDRs for calls to intra-switch extensions:

Enter the command:change intra-switch-cdr

Add the extension numbers.

Select enter.

For Capture Verification to receive CDRs for calls to trunk groups, complete the following steps for each trunk group:

Enter the command:change trunk-group n
where n is the trunk group number

Set CDR Reports to y.

Select enter.

Modify the off-PBX-telephone configuration set:

Enter the command:change off-PBX-telephone configuration-set 1
where 1 is the default configuration set assigned to the SIP EC500 stations

Set CDR for Calls to EC500 Destination to n.
