Configure access to Avaya CDRs

The Avaya Aura Utility Services controls access to the Call Detail Records (CDRs) that Capture Verification requires to provide call data and recording data compliance results.

Before you begin

Set up an account for access to Avaya CDRs

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Avaya Aura Utility Services Administration interface.

  2. Under Call Detail Recording, select Application Control.

Call Detail Recording applications handle CDRs that Avaya Aura Communication Manager generates. Separate daemons perform functions such as collecting data from Communication Manager and importing data to Utility Services.

  3. Enter the user name and password for the configured access account.

  4. Select Enable Password Mode.

  5. Enable the CDR daemons. By default, the Avaya system disables the CDR daemons.

If Communication Manager details are updated before enabling the CDR daemons, the CDR Collector daemon only needs to be started for changes to be effective.

For any changes in configuration to be applied, the CDR Collector daemon must be stopped and started.
