Issues and limitations for Avaya Aura CM integrations
Known issues or limitations exist for the integration between Avaya Aura Communication Manager (CM) and Automated Verification.
A known issue is a low-priority defect that does not stop you from using this integration. A known limitation is a feature or function that is desirable, but is unavailable for use because of a limited ability in Automated Verification, the recorder product, the switch data source, or a combination of these systems. Whenever possible, we provide a workaround.
Issues and limitations can be caused by how the switch data source produces Call Detail Record (CDR) data for call scenarios, how a recorder product captures interactions, or how Capture Verification uses the available data to verify compliance. Some of these issues and limitations impact the range of results Capture Verification can provide.
Issues
No known issues exist for integrations between Avaya Aura CM and Automated Verification.
Limitations
The following limitations apply to the integration between Avaya Aura CM and Automated Verification:
-
The switch data source does not provide CDR data for some segments of calls recorded in a back-office contact policy type. This scenario affects phone data sources with:
-
the switch/sub-type Avaya Communication Manager if the Contact Policy Type is set as Backoffice, and
-
the switch/sub-type External Recorder if the recorded switch platform in VFC Capture is Avaya DMCC/MR.
Do not configure Collectors for these data sources, as calls on these data sources result in false Not recorded results in Capture Verification. All recordings of calls made on these switch data sources are categorized as Recorded, partial call or Recorded in error, partial call in compliance results. If you select these data sources in the Data Sources filter pane on the Overview and Incidents screens, your results are limited to these compliance categories.
-
-
Selective/percentage recording scenarios are not supported, as the switch data source does not provide the required information in CDR data.
-
Manual recording (Record on demand) scenarios are not supported, as the switch data source does not provide the required information in CDR data.
