Turn on the Web Form Designer feature flag

Enable the Web Form Designer feature flag on the Application Servers.

Procedure 

  1. In a browser, go to <Application Server alias or LB address>/wfo/control/license_edit.

  2. In the License Data page, under Features, turn on the Form Designer Web Application feature flag.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Restart the application servers.

  5. Distribute the configuration to all servers, including the recorders.

    The distribution process can take up to 15 minutes to complete.

  6. Verify that the distribution completed successfully.

  7. Verify on the DBMS that the UCM configuration completed successfully.

  8. On each application server, open a command line as the server administrator and run iisreset.

After you turn on the feature flag:

  • Users can no longer access the Desktop Form Designer. To continue working, users must access the Web Form Designer.

  • We recommend instructing users to uninstall the Desktop Form Designer from their desktops.
