Change transfer drives to Archive drives

Update the transfer drives to function as an Archive drives. Complete this task for all transfer drives you created for the migration.

Before you begin 

Change the EMC Centera drive back to an Archive drive

Procedure 

  1. In Recorder Manager, from Operations find the Archive group and select Drives.

  2. Locate the transfer drive and click Edit.

  3. Configure the drive with the following properties:

  4. For the last transfer drive, update it to use the settings recorded from the EMC Centera drive before migration, including the Content Type setting.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Restart the Archive service by clicking Operations > Start and Stop and restart the Archiver component.

    • After completion of this task, the last transfer drive changed to an Archive drive will archive new interactions captured.

    • The EMC Centera drive no longer archives interactions.

  7. Confirm that the campaign is not archiving new interactions to the EMC Centera drive.
