Change the EMC Centera drive back to an Archive drive

After the completion of all transfers from EMC Centera to the transer drives, change the EMC Centera drive back to an Archive drive.

Before you begin 

Monitor EMC Centera migration progress

Procedure 

  1. In Recorder Manager, from Operations find the Archive group and select Drives.

  2. Locate the EMC Centera drive and click Edit.

  3. Configure the drive with the following properties:

    Centralized content from Campaign

    Campaign Name

    Select the original campaign in use before migration.

    Campaign Archive Delay

    Use the default

    Archive Starting Point

    Use the default

    Disabled

    Cleared

    Writeable

    Selected

    Encrypt Contents

    Use the default

    Content Type

    Empty

    Retention Period

    Use the original retention defined before migration.

  4. Click Save.

    If a system message advises you to restart the Archive service, click Operations > Start and Stop and restart the Archiver component.

  5. Confirm that the campaign is not archiving new interactions to the EMC Centera drive.
