Using fields for verification

When verification initiates, the system takes the Identification Rule CTI attribute names/values and attempts to locate a person in Risk Management with the same attribute names/values. If a match occurs, the voiceprint model is retrieved for verification.

For example:

  • You have a custom data field called “accountnumber” to identify customers. The “accountnumber” value of “508-4329-074” is entered when adding the customer in Risk Management, under the Configure area, in Customer configuration. An Identification Rule is created using the same custom data field.

When voice biometric verification of the customer occurs, to retrieve the customer voiceprint model the system uses the name and value supplied by CTI for “accountnumber”.

  • When you create the employee in Risk Management, the system maps the value of the employee ID to the employee you created. The mapping also is used for the voiceprint model created. You create an Identification Rule using Employee Name, which is a reference to the employee ID.

When voice biometric verification of the employee occurs, the system uses the value of the employee ID, supplied by CTI, to retrieve the employee voiceprint model.
