Replay approval role permissions

Role permissions assigned in User Management govern access to replay approval features. By default, replay approval is not enabled for any roles. Risk Management does not show any replay approval features unless the role assigned to you enables the feature.

If you upgrade from a previous version of the suite and have not configured replay approval permissions, the default role permissions for the feature (disabled) apply to all roles.

If you configure roles to require replay approval, ensure you also configure the Replay Approver role. Otherwise, interaction replay is not possible.

Users with permission to define roles in User Management can find the permissions on the Roles Setup page. To access the Roles Setup page, select User Management from the main menu. Under Security, select Roles Setup. You can find replay approval privileges for each role in the General section of the Interactions privileges. The following role permissions are required to use replay approval.

Replay Without Authorization
Determines whether a user with the role requires replay approval. Clear this privilege to require a user with the role to obtain replay approval.
- When cleared, a user with the role requires approval to replay any interaction.
- When selected, a user with the role does not require replay approval. Selected is the default state, meaning a user with the role can replay any interactions to which the user has access.
Replay Approver
Determines whether a user with the role can approve and reject interaction replay for all users within the organizational scope. Select this privilege to designate a user with the role of approver, typically your compliance team.
- When cleared, a user with the role cannot approve or reject replay requests. Cleared is the default state.
- When selected, a user with the role is designated as an approver. An approver has permission to approve or deny replay requests for users in the organization and any subordinate organizations.
