Create a user

You need to create a user which can be used to connect between CipherTrust and application server (WFO).

Only the required fields are explained in the following the steps.

Before you begin 

Configure a static IP address

Procedure 

  1. Sign into the CipherTrust Manager Web Interface.

  2. Go to Access Management and select Users.

  3. Click Add User available on the upper right corner of the screen. The Add User screen appears.

  4. Provide the full name.

  5. Provide the user name and password.

  6. Uncheck the option Allow user to login using CipherTrust web app.

    Proceed with the remaining default selection.

  7. Click Add User.

    A user is created and appears in the list of users available on the Users page.

  8. You can include the user to the admin group, to do so, click Screenshot of Settings corresponding to the Username in the table. You can edit or view the user details.

  9. Expand the Group Memberships section.

  10. Click Add Group.

  11. Enable the checkbox for any desired group(s). You can search for a group by name.

  12. Click Add Group to confirm.

    The user "admin" is unique and when once created, it cannot be removed and will always have access to all resources.
