Upload CipherTrust Manager license

To access all administration features—such as creating domains, clustering, and scheduling—you must obtain and activate a valid, permanent license from Verint Support for each CipherTrust Manager server (or virtual instance). When you sign in to CipherTrust Manager Web Interface for the first time, add the license to display the menu items available based on your license file.

Verint only supports trial license for lab environments. When activating a trial license, although multiple features are listed, only Virtual CipherTrust Manager is applicable.

After uploading the license, the State of the license says Active for the virtual CipherTrust manager. However, the Expiration shows as Expired. This is a known issue.

Procedure

Obtain the Key Manager Lock Code:
1. Sign into the CipherTrust Manager Web Interface.
2. From Admin Settings, go to Licensing, and select Lock codes.
3. Click to expand Key Manager Lock Code.
4. Copy the lock code.
  
  This lock code is needed to activate a CipherTrust Manager license. Only one lock code is required.
To get a permanent license, open a support ticket with Verint Support, and provide the following information:
- Customer Account Number
- CipherTrust license sales order number
- Key Manager Lock Code (up to two (2) for every one (1) CipherTrust licenses ordered)
When you receive the license file, upload it:
1. Sign in to CipherTrust Manager Web Interface.
2. From Admin Settings, go to the Licensing page, select Add License.
3. Select Upload License and select the license file.
4. Select Add License to save the details.
