About licenses

When you log on to the CipherTrust portal and go to the licensing section, you can view license details. For the term license, you see the expiration date. The following are the details about the license types and how they are displayed in the portal:

License Types	Details
Perpetual	No expiration date.
Term	Expiration date shows October 10, 2026. The expiration date has no impact on the Verint contractual agreement for Encryption services provided to the customer.
Trial	When installing a trial license, the portal displays a start date from Thales that is not relevant to your deployment. The expiration date displayed is 90 days from the date of installation. Only the Virtual CipherTrust Manager product is supported for the Verint implementation. Any additional products displayed by Thales are not relevant.
Transition from Trial to Permanent	An expiration note appears on both the trial and permanent licenses. Refer to the preceding points.
