Generate an Internal API Key

To include the AUTH_TOKEN parameter in the Desktop Resources installation, you must provide an internal API key. You can generate the key through License Management.

Before you begin 

You must have appropriate access rights to generate the key and show the key value.

Procedure 

  1. Sign in as the tenant administrator.

    2. You must sign in under the desired tenant scope for the target desktops. Logging in under the service provider scope will generate an API key for the service provider scope, and not the tenant scope.

  2. Go to System Management. Under License Management, select API Keys.

  3. Select the Add icon Add key icon.

  4. Set the Key Type to Internal.

  5. Optional: Add a description for the key, such as Desktop Resources API key.

  6. Select Generate.

  7. Under Actions, select the Show Show key value icon icon.

  8. Under Actions, select the Copy Copy key icon icon.

  9. Use the copied value as the value for the Desktop Resources AUTH_TOKEN parameter.
