SIP Proxy Adapter Settings for Five9 Integrations

Setting

Description

Adapter Name

A unique name for this adapter. Do not use any special characters or characters that truncate xml. This field is not case-sensitive.

Description

Optional: Type a description of the adapter.

Adapter Type

A read-only field that lists the adapter.

Startup Type

Select a startup type: Automatic, Manual, or Disabled.

DataSource

The Application data source that you previously created for Five9.

Record Unknown Devices

When selected, any device is recorded, even if it is not recognized.

SIP Protocol

Select SIP over TLS for Five9 integrations. Transport Layer Security (TLS) is designed to secure client/server communications over a network. It operates on segments of network connections above the Transport Layer.

Listen at IP Address

Listen at IP address: Specify the IPv4 address for the adapter to bind the SIP trunk and receive traffic. The address must be a valid IPv4 address on one of the network interfaces of the local system. When the adapter starts, if the Listen at IP address field is empty, the adapter listens to each network interface with a valid IPv4 address. The adapter starts only when the IPv4 address can be located.

Port

The listen port for the IP address specified earlier. If Telephony Playback Server is installed on the Integration Service machine, you must use a port other than 5060.

The specified port cannot be in use by any other application or adapter on the local server.

Enable Debug Logging

When not selected, the system performs typical SIP logging. When selected, extra logging from the underlying SIP stack occurs. Due to the significant increase in logging, only enable this setting for troubleshooting purposes. Not selected by default.

Audio Codec Support

Setting

Description

Audio Codecs

Select a supported codec from the list of those available.

TLS Parameters

This section contains settings for SIP over Transport Layer Security (TLS). Complete this section for all Five9 VoiceStream integrations.

Setting

Description

KeyStore Filename

Type the path with the name of the keystore that you have generated.

Password

Enter the password for the generated keystore.

File format

Select the file format that matches that of the file specified in the KeyStore Filename field.

Support sRTP to sRTP fallback

To support fallback to sRTP if secure/encrypted sRTP is not available, select this option.

Enable Mutual Authentication

Clear this check box. Five9 VoiceStream does not support SIP mutual authentication.

Security Profile

A security profile on the Secure Gateway (SGW) defines the protocols and ciphers allowed for secure communications. Client connections that do not meet this minimum protocol are rejected, and can result in recording loss. The Security Profile setting specifies from where the adapter must obtain the profile.

  • Site Setting - The adapter obtains the associated profile of Intermediate or Modern based on the server site HTTPS Protocol and Cipher Configuration setting in Enterprise Manager.

  • Intermediate - The adapter uses the selected configuration of Intermediate. Use this setting for backward compatibility.

  • Modern - The adapter uses the selected configuration of Modern. Use this setting for the strongest security.

SIP Statistics

Setting

Description

Enable SIP Statistics Gathering

To display SIP trunk processing rates on the Integration Status page for the Integration Service, select this option. SIP Statistics include requests, responses, and calls handled by a single SIP adapter.

Statistics logging period (minutes)

The duration for which SIP statistics are gathered, in minutes. The default is 15.

Key

Value

UseRecorderHttpAlias

True: Required to route traffic from Five9 VoiceStream, which is outside the Verint Cloud network. SIP or SIPREC signalling uses the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the RIS node. The FQDN is inserted into SIP and SDP messages.

The FQDN is specified in the HTTP Alias field, as described in Configure the Recorders for Five9.

When using the HTTP alias setting, a single NIC must be used for both the HTTP server management and the VoIP sRTP traffic delivery. The HTTP alias is inserted into the media negotiation (for example, the SDP section of a SIP handshake) and the far end device must be able to resolve this address to the delivery NIC.

False: Use the internal IP addresses for communications.

Note: When this key is omitted, communications are sent to the internal IP addresses of the RIS nodes.
