Standard and custom attributes
Attributes are meta data for an interaction (conversation). The following standard and custom attributes are unique to Verint Messaging.
Standard attributes
A standard attribute is available on the adapter, but not captured in the database.
To make the data related to a standard attribute available in Verint applications and reports, map the attribute to a custom field.

Custom attributes
A custom attribute is included in the meta data from an external system, but not available in Verint EDM
To make the data related to a custom attribute available in Verint applications and reports, create a custom attribute, and then map the attribute to a custom field.
