Set up the Recorders

For the Recorder to request data from external sources and to store the content it receives, assign the required service roles.

The Service Provider is responsible for this task.

Before you begin

Install Recorders (primary and secondary), as described in the WFO Installation Guide.

Procedure

In Enterprise Manager, go to System Management, under Enterprise, select Settings.
Select the Recorder node.
Under Enterprise, select Server Roles.
For post-call audio capture, enable the following services:
- Content Server
- Interaction Capture
- Recorder Control Gateway
- Recorder Ingestion Web Service
For real-time audio capture, enable the following services:
- Content Server
- Ingestion Web Service
- Interaction Capture (for tagging contact records)
- IP Recorder
- Recorder Adapter Proxy Service (RAPS)
- Recorder Integration Service
Associate the Interaction Capture node to the Recorder Ingestion Web Service.
For real-time audio: Associate the Recorder Integration Service to the Recorder Adapter Proxy Service.
