Workflow: Create projects in standalone mode

Create the Phonetics Boosting project for the language model you require. To integrate the changes into the language model, send the project to the Support team. The new model can then be distributed with the Language Model Distributor.

Workflow 

  1. Optional: Change application to standalone mode

    If required, change the mode of the Phonetics Boosting application from connected (the default), to standalone, by changing the mode setting in the configuration file.

  2. Define project properties (Standalone mode)

    For a new Phonetics Boosting project, define the project properties such as the project name, its language model or language and vocabulary, and the location where the project is saved.

  3. Add terms and phrases to project (Standalone mode)

    Add single or multiple terms and phrases, define their band adjustments, and phonetic representations.

    or Import terms and phrases into project (Standalone mode)

    Import multiple terms and phrases into the Phonetics Boosting project from an external file.

  4. Send Project to the Support team

    To integrate the changes into the language model, send the project to the Support team by opening a support ticket with the project file and details.

  5. Download and distribute boosted language model (Standalone mode)

    Distribute the language model to all the Speech Transcription servers that use the model.
