Capture Verification Collector connection status

The Collector connection status indicates whether the Collector can connect to the configured data source. The Details pane shows any additional information.

The Collector is connected to the data source.

Connecting...

The Collector is trying to connect to the data source.

Connected with issues

Connection to the data source was successful, but issues have recently occurred.

Typically indicates that either a minor issue is currently preventing the Collector from collecting data, or a critical issue occurred within the past hour but the Collector has now recovered and is collecting data as expected.

Examples:

  • Collector cannot access the Call Detail Record (CDR) data file.

  • CDR data file format is invalid.

  • A Collector for a BT Trading Enterprise switch data source is configured to connect to multiple TradeSense servers, but only successfully connected to one of them.

Connection failed

The Collector failed to start, or the connection to the data source failed.

Disconnected

No connection between the Collector and data source.

Typically, indicates that the Collector is not enabled under Feed Properties.

Disconnecting...

The Capture Verification Collector is attempting to disconnect from the data source.

System setup issue

An administrator needs to set up the system for Automated Verification.

  • To run a Collector, Automated Verification requires a server with the Automated Verification Agent server role.

  • Before a Collector can collect data, the Automated Verification Agent server role Enable Collectors setting must be activated for the server.

The Details pane indicates the type of issue.
