Workflow: Configure Capture Verification

Configure a Capture Verification Collector and define service level targets.

Before you begin

  • You require an administrator role or user role with Capture Verification configuration privileges.

  • Your system configuration must include:

    • As part of your Automated Verification license, the options for individual integrations selected.

    • A phone, trader, or application data source linked to the required organization.

    • Automated Verification Database, Core, and Agent server roles activated on platform servers.

    • On the Automated Verification Agent server, the Enable Collectors role setting activated.

Workflow

  1. Include a data source in Capture Verification

Including a switch data source makes the recording metadata of the data source available for evaluation in Capture Verification and allows you to enable Collectors for that data source.

  2. Configure a Capture Verification Collector

A Collector is an Automated Verification software component that collects Call Detail Records (CDRs) from a switch. Capture Verification uses the CDR data to verify recordings for an organization and evaluate whether recordings are compliant and in line with a target level of service.

  3. (Optional) Configure data source Recordings settings

The Recordings tab of the Data Source configuration page provides information and features related to how Capture Verification manages recordings.

  4. Configure Capture Verification SLIs

An Automated Verification Service Level Indicator (SLI) is a compliance target for an organization. Capture Verification requires SLIs to calculate the relative performance of recording policy compliance, voice quality, and recorder services.
