Delete metadata

Delete a metadata definition when you no longer require it for detection.

Before you begin

Procedure

Go to Risk Management. Under Configure, select Metadata.
In Configure Metadata, select the name of the attribute element that you want to delete.
Click delete .

If the metadata value is assigned to a watch list, a confirmation dialog notifies you that you are deleting metadata used by a watch list.

If the metadata value is not assigned to a watch list, a confirmation dialog is provided to verify the deletion.
To complete the deletion of the metadata, click Yes.
- The metadata definition is removed from Risk Management.
- The metadata definition is removed from any watch lists that use it.
